Minneapolis, Mayor Jacob Frey Shows Support for CBD & Cannabis Industry in MN

Mayor Frey Shows Support for CBD & Cannabis at Minneapolis Store Opening

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey made headlines with the cannabis industry supporters in Minnesota the other day. According to the Star Tribune, the CBD industry is seeing a big boom in Minneapolis, despite the lack of testing and regulations surrounding CBD oil supplements.

It seems consumers are depending on their own research and studies that have not been in the mainstream media that show significant benefits for patients struggling with pain, anxiety, depression, and a host of other illnesses once treated with prescription drugs. CBD oil from hemp products have been greeted with a lot more support than their cannabis CBD oil counterpart. Even with a vote going against the legalization of recreational marijuana in Minnesota just recently, the mayor wanted to continue to show his support for the cannabis industry in Minnesota.

Surrounded by fanfare & media the governor stood side by side with store owner Josh Maslowski. The store name is Stigma, and the owner is a big supporter of CBD oil because he has seen first hand with family members who suffer from a number ailments including cancer & anxiety, what CBD oil can provide for a suffering patient. Mayor Frey declared this as a step in the right direction for welcoming the hemp & cannabis industry to Minnesota.

The store itself is located at 250 3rd Av. N. in the North Loop of Minneapolis, MN. We look for this to be one of many more CBD stores opening in the Minneapolis area, and we wish Josh and the staff at Stigma the best of luck in their business adventures.
